About

We strive to promote and advocate for the civil rights of guide dog handlers in Georgia through involvement in activities in our communities and in the legislative process. GGDU works to educate the public about the important role guide dogs play in our lives and about the federal and state laws that guarantee our access accompanied by our dogs to public accommodations. Drawing on our experiences and knowledge, we provide peer support, advocacy and information to guide dog handlers throughout the state.
